Steering Committee
The Steering Committee, consisting of a representation of course teaching staff and representatives from the world of work, ensures constant liaison with the world of business and the world of work, in order to assess the performance of the Study Courses, to draw up proposals for the definition and design of the course catalogue and learning objectives, and to promote contacts for possible student internships in companies and institutions.
How do we make sure that the contents of our Second-cycle degree are always in line with what the world of work requires and that TRADE develops the knowledge and skills (the 'knowing' and 'knowing how') needed by companies, both national and international, for the functions that are the natural outlet for our graduates, i.e. Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, Market Analysis and Research and, more generally, for managerial roles?
We meet with our Steering Committee, a group of managers and experts from leading Italian industrial and commercial companies, trade organisations, and marketing service agencies.
The members of the TRADE Steering Committee are:
- President Young Entrepreneurs CNA (National Confederation of Craftsmen) Emilia Romagna Region,
- Pasta Marketing Director, Barilla
- Founder and CEO, Around Marketing Managing Director Infor Group
- Retail Sales Director, Parmalat
- Trade Marketing Manager, Davines
-
The Committee meets with the Course President, Prof. Cristina Ziliani, and the TRADE Quality Assurance Manager, Prof. Silvia Bellini, to discuss:
- skills and knowledge that Trade and Consumer Marketing graduates should possess (or enhance) in order to be usefully placed in the world of work, in particular for the key functions that you know and supervise;
- subjects/topics/projects/activities that it would be useful to include/design, also in the placement area;
- suggestions of best practices in existence at other degree courses of other Universities, including foreign ones, to be inspired by and to be borrowed from;
- anything that may be useful to improve the teaching and placement of TRADE graduates.
