The President convenes and chairs the Course Council and supervises its activities.

Course Council

The Course Council consists of the course unit professors and researchers who provide support teaching for a course unit, as well as a student representation of 20% of the other members. The tasks of the Course Council are governed by the University Teaching Regulations.

The students' and students' representatives are:

Commission pursuant to Art. 1 para. 5 of the Study Course Regulations

The Course Council may appoint committees from among its members to which it delegates the task of assessing and approving student files (programmes of study, internships, transfers, etc.) or of assisting the President in the coordination of teaching activities and more generally in the performance of his duties. The members of the commission are: 

Responsible for Course Quality Assurance (QAM)

Prof. Paola Volpini

The QAM professor:

  • collaborates with the President of the Degree Course and the Department Director in planning improvement actions and monitors their implementation;
  • monitors the proper conduct of teaching activities and support services;
  • informs the President of the Degree Course of any problem concerning the proper conduct of teaching activities, also on the basis of students' reports.

Course Didactics Quality Manager (CQM)

The Manager ensures the organization and functionality of the didactics of the course of study

Review Group

The Review Group (RG) has the task of guiding the course towards the goal of continuous improvement of results; it also manages the self-assessment process by periodically monitoring the course data, detecting strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective and improvement actions.

International Student Mobility Commission

The Commission manages student mobility (incoming and outgoing) in relation to all international exchange programmes (Erasmus Plus, Overworld etc.).

Composition of the Commission

Within the course of study there are delegates for international mobility:

 

 

Reference for students with disabilities, Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) or vulnerable groups

CAI (Centro Accoglienza e Inclusione) University reference centre for reception, assistance, social integration and rights of people with disabilities, Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), Special Educational Needs (SEN). 

 

Joint Committee of Teachers and Students (CPDS)

Each department establishes a Joint Committee of Teachers and Students (CPDS) consisting of one lecturer and one student from each course of study pertaining to the department.

 

The CPDS is a permanent observatory on teaching activities.

Unified Steering Committee

The Unified Steering Committee of the Degree Course in Literature (bachelor’s degree) and the Inter-Class Degree Course in Literature, consisting of the course presidents and representatives from the world of work, ensures constant liaison with the world of business and the world of work, in order to assess the progress of the courses of study, to draw up proposals for the definition and design of the course catalogue and learning objectives, and to promote contacts for possible student internships in companies and institutions.
