Postgraduate training
The University of Parma, in its capacity as Promoting Body, organises extracurricular internships for its former students who have obtained a university degree no more than 12 months ago (first-cycle degree, doctorate or second-cycle degree).
The maximum duration of an internship is normally six months.
The regulatory competence for extracurricular internship is regional, so it is necessary to comply, with specific exceptions, with the provisions in force in the region where the internship is located.
In order to start the internship, an agreement must be concluded between the Host Organisation (public or private entity) and the University (Promoter Organisation).
Attached to the conclusion of the agreement is the drafting of an individual training project (PFI) representing certain professional skills that the intern will develop during the training course.
Extra-curricular internships provide the intern with a compulsory participation allowance to be paid by the Host Organisation.
