Single cycle Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery; Specialist Degree in Medicine and Surgery (ex D.M. n. 509/99), with qualification to practice; Master’s Degree in Dentistry and Dental Prostheses; Master’s Degree in Health Professions; Single cycle Master’s Degree in Pharmacy and CTF; Master’s Degree in Psychology; Master’s Degree in Biotechnology; Master’s Degree in Biology; Master’s Degree in Chemistry; Master’s Degree in Food Science; Master’s degree in programming and management of Social Services or similar. Equivalent securities acquired abroad. Further qualifications may be evaluated by the Executive Committee on the basis of scientific-cultural affinities with the subjects proposed in the Master, also taking into account the CV submitted by the candidates.

Educational content

The training contents aim to: (a) equip health professionals with knowledge and tools for the design and development of gender-specific medicine, through training, the enhancement of multidisciplinary experiences and skills; (b) promote innovative research methodologies (biomedical, pharmacological and psycho-social); (c) feed the training process through the Territorial, Regional, National and European excellence; (d) define and act on the meaning of the centrality of the patient in the treatment processes; (e) build paths, methodologies, indicators, on prevention, diagnosis, care and rehabilitation, gender-specific, for the development of Health Systems increasingly attentive to personalized medicine

Professional profile

The Master aims to create a professional figure: (a) who possesses a multidisciplinary knowledge on the influence of gender on the health and disease of individuals; (b) who is able to promote and act a culture for a personalized medicine model, with the aim of identifying and overcoming inequalities in the field of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various diseases; (c) being able to contribute to the development of health systems aimed at the centrality of the patient.
